Flying over Casa Grande, Arizona

I-10 runs across the bottom of the picture. This is looking north east I-8 intersects with I-10 at the left lower corner. My house on Selma Road is towards the lower middle left and the cotton gin where dad worked is upper middle right.

Dad and mom moved to this house when I was 8 years old (1968). When I was 14 Jack, Cheryl and I would go dove and quail hunting about a half mile behind the house. Jack said this was a good area since there was a water source from a canal near by. The field to the left had maize and there were many thickets of mesquite trees. I have fond memories of getting up early and going hunting with Jack. The field in front of the house grew cotton. The field to the right had alfalfa. This picture was taken early in the year so the fields were just getting prepared.

Casa Grande, Arizona April 1982.
Looking east Florence Blvd and Pinal Ave intersect at the
bottom of this picture. If you follow Florence Blvd all the way
to the top of the picture that's I-10 across the top right corner.
At this time CG mall was on the east edge of town.
