Mount St. Helens

I found some old post cards of the eruption of Mount St. Helens to go with the pictures I took two years after.
The back of this card reads: Mount St. Helens, Washington catastrophic eruption May 18, 1980. This eruption happened at 8:32 a.m. blowing out 1.5 cubic miles of the mountain top. Photo by Pat and Tom Leeson. Published by Ellis Post card Co.

This card says: The eruption was felt and heard up to 200 miles away.

I think the shots below were taken during
the summer of '82 since there was
less snow on the mountain.

The shot below is of Spirit Lake at the foot of St. Helens.
You can see the fallen timber at the upper far ends of the lake.
